Why you should become a cognitive psychologist when telling data stories... 👨🏼‍🎓

As we have established your data story's success depends on whether or not you have designed it to match your audience's agenda. Why is that important? Because they are the decision makers and they need to be inspired by your data story and your call-to-action to act.

This is why decision theory is important to understand how a human brain works and how we make decisions.

One of the books that comes to mind is certainly Daniel Kahneman's "Thinking, fast and slow".

And since 2021 there is a new book out there from Daniel Kahneman: "Noise". Again, the quest is to find out how we arrive to a decision and why to experts with the identical information come to completely different choices.

Excited to read this book and interested to know who of you read it and found interesting insights from it! 🧐

Happy presenting and have a great weekend!
