One Year Lückenkrach

This week one year ago I started my own business. And what a journey it has been up to now!

Founding your own company is a marathon, not a sprint, so I am by far not where I aim to be. And it is great to figure out how to get there as I go along.

One of my 4 corporate values I laid out in my business plan last year was:

Enjoy the ride 🎢 - this is your time off the beaten track! Do what you feel like doing and experiment! 👩🏻‍🔬

I think the latter also brought me to my latest endeavors:

✔ I moderated a big gala just recently which was just brilliant fun! And I guess I discovered a new passion along the way.

✔ I produce the podcast “Chefin ruft an” together with dear friends and talk about topics we are passionate about.

✔ I recently got myself a ‼️book deal‼️ with a renowned publishing house for a book on data storytelling in project management! Whoohooo! 🙌🏻

But what I value most looking back at the past year are the encounters with the people: old friends, strangers that became new friends, family, customers, sparring partners, mentors, mentees, sponsors and role models! Generally, people who believed in me, my ideas, my passion. But also those who give me constructive criticism and room for change.

What a blast so far! This is getting better and better!

Thanks to you all, you know who you are! 🙏🏻
